//-/ introduction; /-//

Hey there! I go under this brand as Astral - welcome to my website! :>I would like to describe myself as nothing more than someone with a large imagination. I began my journey of music production as far back as 2022 or 2023, and I've been trying to chase this dream ever since the first upload on my channel.What types of music do I produce, though? I'm not exactly sure yet in terms of genres since I haven't focused on anything too specific, but at the moment I am mainly a DTM producer, and I would say I currently excel in creating songs with atmospheric and melodic elements.I'm always trying to make my music the best it can be for anyone who might enjoy it! Feel free to support me in any way if you want to join me on this journey - it would mean a lot <3I don't have much else to say for this introduction - enjoy your stay o/

Can I use your work for a project?

This heavily depends on how you're using my work.If you're making a commercial / monetized project, I will typically decline unless there is discussion about compensation - this does not mean only credit.If you're making a personal / non-monetized project, you are free to use my work given that you provide proper credit and produce transformative content.
(e.g. no re-uploads of my work to your account)If you're remixing my work, you are free to do so given that you upload your work under the identical Creative Commons license.
(i.e. attribution, non-commercial, and share alike)If you would like to commission me for any work on your project, or for other reasons, this can also be discussed in DMs - Discord is the best way to contact me.

Who are the extra artists?

The extra artists are listed in songs to represent varying genres within the music that I release - the default alias I use is Λstral. More information about each character and their respective themes / genres are available in the extra information tab.No other producers are behind these aliases; all work listed on my accounts is made, in full or in part, by me. Any other names that may appear in my songs' artist listings - for example, if I work with another artist - are not part of my character roster unless I explicitly say so in the song's description.If a song's listed artist contains "Nova Sound Team", any genre from each character is featured at least once within that song (except Jacey, in most cases). The leading artist name is usually the main-focus character for that song - or if there is none, the default alias.More names may appear in the future!

Can you post your songs on Spotify?

Nope. I would if I had a distributor, but seeing as there are a lot of issues other creators are facing with mainstream distributors, I would rather keep my work to self-publishing sites only. I would recommend checking out this video by Venus Theory to understand what I am referring to, as it gives some very detailed and useful insight that I also didn't know at first.The answer to this question also applies to other music stores that require a distributor for uploading, such as Apple Music, Amazon Music, and other similar platforms.As of writing this text, my songs are available on YouTube, SoundCloud, Bandcamp, and Newgrounds only. Until I make the choice to upload my songs to music stores, this will not change. Please respect this decision!
